We are a volunteer-led humanitarian organization based in Sutton, dedicated to uniting the local community in support of Palestinian liberation. Our mission brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds to advocate for justice and human rights. Through events, fundraisers, and peaceful protests, we raise awareness about the struggles faced by Palestinians, amplifying their voices in the broader dialogue.

In addition to community engagement, we actively participate in political lobbying to influence policies that support Palestinian rights. By fostering solidarity and cooperation, we aim to create a powerful movement for change rooted in compassion and determination for a free Palestine.

How We Operate

We are guided by a dedicated Leadership Team (LT) that meets weekly to strategize and coordinate our efforts. All members of the LT are volunteers, and as a result, the team may change depending on individual commitments.

Currently, our organization comprises approximately 200 members from the local area, and we are steadily growing. This diverse group is united by a shared commitment to advocate for Palestinian liberation, making a meaningful impact in our community.

About Palestine

Palestine, a region with a rich history and cultural heritage, has been at the heart of one of the most protracted conflicts in modern times. For over seven decades, the Palestinian people have faced displacement, occupation, and ongoing oppression. Despite numerous efforts for peace, millions of Palestinians continue to live under difficult conditions, deprived of basic rights such as freedom, self-determination, and access to essential resources.

At Sutton Friends of Palestine, we are committed to highlighting the plight of the Palestinian people. Through our activism and advocacy, we aim to raise awareness of the humanitarian crisis and the urgent need for a just and peaceful resolution. We believe in a future where Palestine is free, where its people live in dignity, and where justice prevails for all.
